Seasoned Rice Vinegar
Combine 1 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
2 t. salt
Heat till sugar and salt are dissolved.

Date Paste |
1/2 pound chopped dates
1/2 cup water Cook until dates are a mushy paste. Adding more water while cooking if needed. Cool before using in recipe. |
Coconut "Bacon" |
1 cup sliced coconut
1/2 T. Tamari Sauce 1/2 T. Maple Syrup or Agave Nectar 1/2 t. Smokene, or liquid smoke 1/2 t. paprika |
Break coconut into large flakes
Combine all ingredients Place on baking sheet with parchment paper or silicon baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for about 15 minutes stirring several times. Remove from oven when coconut is beginning to get crisp. |
Crock Pot Glazed Pecans |
5 cups raw pecan halves
1/3 cup coconut oil 1 T. maple syrup 2 t. stevia powder 1/2 t. salt Plus salt to taste. 1/2 t. cinnamon |
Heat Crock pot on high for 15 minutes
Put coconut oil in crock pot and melt. Stir in maple syrup, stevia powder and salt. Put lid on crock pot, keep it on high heat for 15 minutes, stirring often. Remove lid, change setting to "low" . Cook on low for 2-3 hours, till pecans are crispy and coated. Remove from crock pot, spread on tray, sprinkle with cinnamon, and coarse salt. Stir to mix. Cool and enjoy. |
Chicken style seasoning |
1 cup nutritional yeast
2 T. soy flour 2 T. onion powder 2 T. salt 2 T. celery salt 2 t. Truvia (stevia sweetener) 1 t. paprika 1 t. garlic powder 1 t. Italian herbs 1/2 t. turmeric 1/4 t. white pepper 1 1/2 T. parsley flakes |
Blend all ingredients except parsley flakes.
Place in jar, mix in parsley flakes. Keep in jar with tight fitting lid. Use for vegetable broth or seasoning, 1 heaping t. per one cup of water. |
Beef Style Seasoning |

1/4 cup dried parsley 1/4 cup carob powder 1 T. salt 1 T. Italian seasoning 2 t. stevia crystals 1 t. celery salt 1 t. garlic powder 1 t. paprika 1 t. ground black pepper 1/2 t. cumin |
Place all ingredients in blender
Blend Place in jar with tight fitting lid Use for vegetable broth or seasoning 1 heaping t. per one cup of water. |
